Burnout

This time of year can be exhausting for those of us running small businesses and even more so this year. I’ve worked consitently every day for the last two weeks just so I can get all your orders out in good time, especially with the postal system on overload. Parcels are taking twice and long due to the back log, remember to be kind, this year has been tough on everyone!

Last night I sat, after a delicious meal cooked by my daughter and made a wreath ready for Yule. It felt good to have my hands in the moss and leaves and although I definitely am not green fingered I have noticed I am wanting to be more at one with nature.

The wreath kit was supplied by my favourite local florist - Floral creations St Austell, Karen is a talented artist with flowers, and this kit was just beautiful.

Next week I will tell you all about my preperations for Yule, this is my first one and I am looking forward to it so much
